Your Home Needs To Breathe

Did you know that your home needs to breathe? It needs to change its total air volume six or seven times a day. This is accomplished by fresh outdoor air entering and leaving your home through beneficial leaks in the home's structure, such as from around windows and doors.

Complications occur when this exchange of air includes polluted, dusty air coming from inside your home… from the attic, garage, leaky air ducts, and crawl spaces. In addition, if the leaks are too large, heat and cooling loss can increase your energy bills and rob you of the savings you expect from a high-efficiency system.

What Can a Home Efficiency Audit do for You?

According to the Department of Energy, "The typical duct system loses 25% to 40% of the energy put out of the central furnace, heat pump or air conditioner." Are you throwing away 25¢ to 40¢ out of every utility dollar? Find out if you are, and how to stop it and start saving money.

As a specially trained Comfort Institute member, we offer this service to ensure the quality of your home's air and energy use. Using advanced diagnostic instruments and testing procedures, we will identify problems that affect your indoor living environment, and then provide you with a personalized plan to solve these problems.
