I have been working with ESA for over 10 years. Love their team. Overall they are 5 start in every aspect. Their annual maintenance plan added 4 or 5 years to my heat pump before it was time to replace (19 yrs old) The technicians, Ryan, John, and Derlyn were all very prompt, courteous, and most of all efficient. They took care of the replacement heat pump and air handler just as they stated they would and in the time frame discussed. No extra sales pitch involved. Heat back on in no time!!

ESA has been taking care of the HVAC at my house for two decades. Always pleased with the techs and their work. When I needed to replace a mini split recently, I shopped around and ended up coming back to ESA as the both install and the ongoing maintenance contract was the most cost effective option I found.
This company was referred to me by the owner of another HVAC company. I was in need of a Carrier specialist. The phone experience and the scheduling process was great. The tech came out the next morning, on time, friendly and knowledgeable. The diagnosis ended up being a choice for an expensive repair or a replacement. I chose the replacement option. The following day the salesman came out. He was very thorough, extremely knowledgeable and was not pushy at all. He spent 1.5hr with me. I received a very professional proposal with a choice of two units, and 16 options. In the end I did not accept their proposal as I found another brand with a very similar product and similar quality for $3,600 less. This was no slight on the company, it was just the other brand was cheaper (sometimes it's the unit, the brand or the current rebates). I have no qualms about using this company and referring others to them. As I have two heat pumps, I'll see what happens when my 2nd one needs replacement.

ESA has provided us with reliable and professional service for over 6 years, including a recent HVAC installation and other work which was done on time and very well by Cody and his team. Frank, the sales rep was very helpful, available, and patient, and made sure I was well-informed to make the best decision. He coordinated everything to make sure the installation went smoothly. Frank also got an additional technician, Benjamin, to come out on short notice to fix our old mini-split. Benjamin worked for several hours to diagnose and fix the issue. I highly recommend ESA.

Update: after I wrote the company to complain they called and we worked out a solution. They did work that no other company could do and I was pleased overall with the quality and the cost.They had worked on system for previous owner and it was complete garbage. They knew it was garbage (oversized unit, ducts that go to nowhere, returns in the wrong place) but didn't fix the problems. When I asked them for an estimate to fix the ductwork problems, they told me they would charge me $200 an hour labor to design a solution and it they didn't know how many hours would be needed. That was not even to start on the actual ductwork. Like I'm going to trust them to charge me for however many hours they claim to spend on a plan that doesn't involve any actual work, after they already apparently charged the previous owner a lot of money to work on the system when they knew it was not going to fix the problem. I really don't understand how this company gets an award when they treat people like this.

We had a great experience with ESA. We had both a water heater and a new heat pump installed. Bob, our sales rep, is extremely knowledgeable about HVAC and was able to help us resolve an issue we've had for almost 20 years. The install team was great as well. On time, courteous, polite and made sure to clean up before they left. I would highly recommend ESA if you need a new heat pump or water heater.
